A student with abdominal pain
and diarrhea triggered by stress
This student experienced abdominal pain and loose stools whenever they felt stressed, much like Irritable Bowel Syndrome. They suffered from frequent abdominal pain both before and after meals and had to use the restroom 2 to 4 times a day, which resulted in a low food intake.
For this patient, we prescribed 3 sets of digestive herbal medicine, followed by 1 set of finishing medicine. Immediate improvement was observed with each dose, and the student's appetite gradually returned, and they no longer complained of abdominal pain.
Notably, even though we focused exclusively on the digestive system, their digestion and absorption improved, leading to a significant increase in their growth percentile—a very positive outcome.
