Yon Korean Medicine Clinic Terms of Use

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Use is to clearly define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other related matters between Yon Korean Medicine Clinic (hereinafter referred to as "the Clinic") and users regarding the use of the website and artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbot service (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") operated by the Clinic.

Article 2 (Definition of Terms)

  1. "Service" refers to all functions provided by the Clinic through the website and AI chatbot, including the provision of medical institution information, health-related information guidance, and booking medical appointments.
  2. "User" refers to any individual (including members and non-members) who agrees to these Terms of Use and utilizes the services provided by the Clinic.
  3. "Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chatbot" refers to an automated conversational interface designed to respond to user inquiries and assist with booking medical appointments based on machine learning and natural language processing algorithms.

Article 3 (Content and Limitations of Service)

The Clinic provides the following services:

  • B. Real-time Q&A and appointment support functions using an AI chatbot
  • C. Other related tasks consistent with the Clinic's operational objectives

Medical Limitations: All information provided through this Service (including the AI chatbot) is limited to supplementary reference material intended to assist the user's understanding and cannot replace a medical diagnosis or prescription by a professional medical staff. For accurate identification of conditions and therapeutic intervention, users must visit the clinic and receive an in-person examination from a professional medical practitioner.

Absence of Payment Functionality: This website and service do not contain an embedded online payment gateway (PG) system. Payments for costs associated with treatment and procedures are made exclusively in-person at the clinic counter after visiting the facility.

Article 4 (Special Provisions for Appointments and AI Chatbot Use)

Users may book medical appointments through the AI chatbot or designated forms on the website.

Clinical Use of Conversation Records: If a user confirms a medical appointment via the AI chatbot, the content of the conversation exchanged with the system (chief complaints, areas of interest, consultation history, etc.) may be transmitted to the Clinic's medical staff and used as supplementary data for more precise medical consultation and treatment.

By proceeding with an appointment through this service, the user is deemed to have explicitly consented to the provision of the aforementioned conversation content to the medical staff for the purpose of medical treatment.

Article 5 (Protection and Handling of Personal Information)

The Clinic strictly protects the personal information of users and handles it in accordance with relevant laws and the "Privacy Policy" separately notified by the Clinic. However, for the purpose of smooth appointment management and treatment preparation, access to the database is restricted to system administrators and relevant medical staff.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Clinic is exempt from responsibility for failure to provide services due to natural disasters, war, turmoil, or other equivalent force majeure events.
  2. The Clinic bears no legal responsibility for any direct or indirect damages or results arising from a user misinterpreting or over-relying on responses provided by the AI chatbot as a professional medical diagnosis.
  3. The Clinic is not responsible for any service disruptions or damages caused by reasons attributable to the user.

Addendum

These terms shall be effective as of June 2, 2026.
