[Yon Clinic & Lean Diet]
Director's Detox Experience

Hello. This is Dr. Hong Ji-yeon, director of Yon Clinic.

A detox experience by the director herself!
As mentioned in my previous post, I personally underwent the 3-day Lean Diet detox process.

I am starting this detox in hopes that it will help reset my eating habits, which have become addicted to food.

Detox Start
Day 1

Half-Excited, Half-Nervous: Day 1 of Detox

I started on a Saturday to avoid affecting my clinic hours as much as possible. Knowing I couldn't eat after Saturday night, I ate quite a lot of things. (Ideally, you shouldn't do this, as overeating in compensation can make the detox period tougher! ^^) So, I enjoyed a feast before starting the detox. I think I ate until about 7:30 PM ^^;

● 8:00 PM
Took the detox pills on Saturday at 8 PM!!

Detox Pills

The pills were small, so they were easy to swallow. Now, I wait to see when and how my body reacts. Drumroll please~~~
In my case, I had no reaction until 11:59 PM on the first night of the detox.

Day 2

Real Signals,
Day 2 of Detox

The process of my body
flushing out toxins.

Bone Broth
12 AM / 8 AM

The Signal Finally Arrived

Around midnight, I felt a gentle urge and went to the bathroom twice in a row. After going again at 8 AM, I slept soundly until noon, feeling tired from the previous week.

12:30 PM ~ 1 PM

Herbal Medicine & Bone Broth

I took one packet of detox pills around 12:30 PM and had some bone broth at 1 PM. I was worried since I don't really like meat, but it was quite edible with a little salt and pepper.

4 PM ~ 7 PM

Toxin Release & Cravings

My stomach felt a bit crampy around 4 PM, but I tolerated it knowing the toxins were being released. I had bone broth at 4:30 PM and 7 PM, and drank decaf Americano in between.

9 PM ~ 10 PM

Closing Day 2

I took another packet of detox pills at 9 PM and drank bone broth at 10 PM. Since my BMI is not high, I plan to monitor my condition and stick to 2 packets a day while extending the period.

Day 3 Morning

The Toughest
Day 3 Morning

On Day 3, I felt the urge again shortly after midnight, and had some abdominal pain around 1:30 AM before heading to the bathroom.

Monday morning arrived—the day I was most worried about. I had to see patients, but when I woke up, I felt weak, chilly, and generally in poor condition.

(All the symptoms above are common "healing reactions" during a detox process, so please don't worry too much.)

Commute

A Difficult Commute

8 AM. I barely made it to work with my bone broth and Americano in tow. It was a morning filled with worry about whether I would get through the day's appointments safely.

Cheong-O-Sik

Efforts to Recover Energy

9:30 AM. Feeling so low on energy, I chewed and swallowed a Musk Gongjin-dan, and took a packet of Cheong-O-Sik as a breakfast substitute.

Day 3 Afternoon

Energy Recovery &
A Lighter Afternoon

The morning fatigue
vanished like magic.

Deer Antler Gyeongokgo
11 AM ~ 11:30 AM

Detox Pills & Recovery

Considering my schedule, I took the pills at 11 AM. From 11:30 AM, thanks to the Gongjin-dan and the detox process, the chilliness faded and I felt revitalized.

1:30 PM ~ 2:20 PM

Bone Broth & Body Response

I drank bone broth at 1:30 PM. Sure enough, about 3 hours after the herbal medicine, at 2:20 PM, I had a definite response.

3 PM ~ 4 PM

Gyeongokgo & A Lighter Body

At 3 PM, I took Deer Antler Gyeongokgo for energy. Although I went to the bathroom again at 4 PM, my stomach felt light and the morning's fatigue was completely gone.

6:30 PM ~ 11 PM

Energy to Work Overtime

After my appointments, I took one more packet of Gyeongokgo and worked late until 9 PM with ease. I had another packet of detox pills and bone broth at 9 PM, and drifted off to sleep at 11 PM, managing my hunger well.

After Detox

Changes After Detox

● Early Morning Responses
Around 12:30 AM and 3 AM, I woke up with a mild stomach ache and went to the bathroom. I felt a bit bloated with gas, but that marked the official end of my intensive detox.

● Day 4 Morning (8 AM)
The next morning! My condition was excellent. It was so difficult on the morning of Day 3, but by Day 4, my body felt light and full of energy. Unlike Day 3, my cravings subsided, and I felt a strong determination to keep up with self-care.

● 1 PM & 7:30 PM
I tried to eat various things for lunch, but I couldn't eat as much as I used to. Could I say my appetite has shrunk? I felt quite good about it. Even in the evening, I only ate a small amount and felt full very quickly.

"I feel full even after eating a little, and my body feels lighter.
I feel motivated to continue managing my health."
