Hello, this is Dr. Ji-yeon Hong from Yon Oriental Medicine Clinic.

Are you enjoying the popular drama "Doctor Cha" currently airing? It’s one of the few dramas I’ve been watching regularly myself.

In the 12th episode that aired on May 21st, there was a scene where Ae-shim (played by Park Joon-geum), who had recovered from thyroid cancer surgery, told Cha Jeong-suk's mother, Deok-rye (played by Kim Mi-kyung), that there was a place she absolutely had to take her to, which turned out to be our clinic.

She clearly knows her stuff! ^^ Those of you who visit our clinic may have already noticed, but the place shown on screen is indeed Yon Oriental Medicine Clinic.

We held the filming at our clinic, and I’m so happy that the drama is getting such great ratings. Did our clinic look good on camera? Haha.

Actress Kim Mi-kyung

The beautiful actress Kim Mi-kyung, who plays 'Deok-rye,' the mother of Uhm Jung-hwa's character. I couldn't help but admire how small her face was, as is typical for those seen on screen.

Actor Seo Kwang-jae

Actor Seo Kwang-jae, who played the role of the Korean medicine doctor perfectly. He is a veteran actor whom everyone would recognize instantly upon seeing his face.

A fresh and fun experience

How did you find this brief post about our clinic's filming experience? It was quite a unique and fun experience for me as well.

Since the actors were such veterans, filming didn't take too long, but it truly required careful preparation from so many staff members to capture the perfect shot.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone, including Director Kim Dae-jin, who, being a Korea University alumnus, kept insisting it was the "Ko-Yon-Jeon" rivalry (though it is #Yon-Ko-Jeon, haha!), as well as the cinematographer, lighting director, and many other staff members.
