Skin Disease Treatments,
A Collection of Customized Herbal Prescriptions

I would like to look at herbal prescriptions by grouping them by disease. First is #SkinDisease.

Most patients visited us with skin symptoms that had persisted for over a year. Depending on the current state and root cause, treatment methods are applied differently, such as for those who improved after detoxification and light therapy, those who improved with concurrent herbal medicine and light therapy, those who improved with detoxification, light therapy, and acupuncture/pharmacopuncture, and those who improved with herbal medicine alone.

I will gather a few herbal prescription cases of patients who visited us for skin diseases and were happy with their improvement.

Case 01

Generalized Skin
Rash in a 9-Year-Old

The child had a history of recurring skin rashes since childhood, and visited us due to symptoms worsening over the past few weeks. They had been using topical steroids and also complained of headaches and fatigue.

Small rashes on the thighs, behind the knees, torso, and arms appeared like insect bites, then clustered to cause severe itching, and showed a tendency to spread. Due to the severity of the symptoms, herbal medicine and 5 sessions of light therapy were conducted simultaneously.

With the synergy of herbal medicine and light therapy, the rash and itching improved significantly from the 2nd to 3rd day. All symptoms disappeared after taking the 3rd course of herbal medicine, and treatment was concluded after 1 final course of decoction to replenish yin and blood.

Case 02

#Atopic Symptoms
in a 4-Year-Old Girl

The child had skin symptoms since infancy and complained of bumpy rashes and severe itching. Symptoms worsened in the heat, so they had been using dermatology ointments.

The neck area showed signs of #lichenification, and the itching was severe enough to wake the child at night. This patient also showed improvement from the first course of herbal medicine, and after 3 courses, all symptoms disappeared, and the skin on the neck softened.

Treatment was concluded after one final course of maintenance medicine.

3-Year Facial Skin
Disease (43 y/o Female)

(24 y/o Female)

Visited for fatigue, 3-month amenorrhea, and jaw acne. After decoction and weekly acupuncture/pharmacopuncture, menstruation returned after 1.5 months, and jaw acne improved without relapse.
